Regular Paste was just right. Something changed. Now I'll search around for the right toothpaste again (decades later). I will not buy Crest again. And if it the choice is between a P&G product and another, I will choose the other one. (A large portion of this review was removed so that it would SEND.)
No, I do not recommend this product.
We're sorry to hear you're not happy with the Crest Cavity Protection Toothpaste, Tim, and we'd like to learn more about your experience so we can help. Please give us a call at (800) 492-7378.
I have been using Crest regular toothpaste for decades. There is something different about this new one. It tastes more like cinnamon then it does fresh mint. Not sure what they did with it but it is not the same product that I used to use. Very disappointed.
Other than a packaging change back in October 2019 there haven't been any changes to the formula, Lulu. Our toothpaste has been proven to provide you with a brilliant clean every time. When you have time please call us at 800 492-7378 so that we can share this with our Quality Assurance Team, and make sure you're getting the best toothpaste for you.
I have used Crest Regular for years and was surprised by the new flavor. I buy a few at a time, so didn't get to thsi new batch until yesterday. Perhaps a different sweetener or something? Not pleasant at all. The old flavor was good. I don't mind change, but this is not a change for the better. For me, less additives is more!!
First, we’d like to thank you for your years of loyalty to Crest as this is incredibly important to us. All of our toothpaste is quality tested to always provide the same brilliant clean that you came to expect from us. When you have time please give us a call at 800 492-7378 so our Quality Assurance Team can look into this further for you!
I've used this product for decades. We purchase 9-12 tubes at a time. I recently opened a number of tubes to verify the consistency of the toothpaste. There's absolutely no question the product has recently changed. Please look into similar products where the overwhelming pressure for cost savings turned out to be a disastrous venture. Remember when Coke came out with New Coke and it didn't go over very well with consumers? How about when Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer (the beer that made Milwaukee famous) altered their formula to give consumers an inferior product in an effort to enhance profit margins? Didn't work, and neither will the recent formula change by Crest on the regular paste. We expect and deserve better from P&G family.
We first want to thank you so much for being a loyal Crest user for decades, Bobby, it means a great deal to us that you choose to work with us to provide a brilliant clean. However, we’re sorry to hear that your most recent purchase didn’t quite meet the standards of our toothpaste. We make sure to quality test all of our products so they’ll give you a consistent smile. We want to hear more from you as customer feedback is very important to us so when you have time please give us a call at (800) 492-7378. We look forward to hearing from you!
On this very Crest website, Crest states their toothpaste can stain your teeth brown. Are they crazy? We go to the trouble to brush our teeth and Crest toothpaste will turn our teeth brown. Unbelievable. Maybe their "whitening toothpaste also turns our teeth brown. Who would have thought! The nerve of Crest.
We're sorry to hear about this as it's not something that we'd expect. Current FDA regulations require that toothpaste containing stannous fluoride be labeled about their staining potential. However, our toothpaste is clinically proven to provide a brilliant smile every time. When you have time please call us at 800 492-7378 so that we can make this up to you.
I've used Crest regular toothpaste my whole life and now my family uses it. I recently opened a new tube to find it's changed! It has a different consistency and doesn't clean our teeth. My teeth don't feel like they have been brushed after I use it - my husband and kids noticed it too. I don't know why they would change the formula that has worked so well. I don't like it and I'm sad to say we'll be changing brands.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but the last change that was made to our Cavity Protection toothpaste was just a packaging change in October of 2019, Blake. Customer feedback like yours is very important for when we do make changes and it’s greatly appreciated if you can give us a call at (800) 492-7378 when you have time.
